I started to train a lot more and needed to find a place in Toronto, Canada. Around one year ago I took the steps to become a professional fighter. My father had a legacy around my town, and I wanted to uphold our family name.
This meant I needed to train as hard as possible and find my own corporate housing in Toronto with little distractions. I was living with some roommates at the time. But they were too loud and a bit of distraction for me.
If you don’t know anything about the fighting scene, let me give you a small brief take away note. You must be on the peak of your physical and mental game. I needed to live on my own and have a quiet place where I could relax and not be bothered by distractions. Sure, I truly loved living with my roommates at the time. However, if I wanted to follow my path, I’d have to move out.
There were a lot of hard days ahead. Days where I was tired, didn’t want to train, didn’t want to eat and the list goes on. But all of this is what builds you to become the better fighter in the ring.

A typical day for me with training began at 5:00am and eating a light meal. Followed by a fast 2.0-mile run, 1-hour workout, eating, then training. I typically would train a couple times a day if possible. My job at this point was to be in the best shape physically and mentally.
I would go back to my wonderful corporate housing in Toronto and relax. Taking a nap on the couch was my favorite part of the day. I didn’t have to worry about what was to come next. Just shutting my eyes and embracing the quiet space.
